Antacids and Proton Pump Inhibitors are dangerous!
I suffered from severe heartburn, so much so that it was starting to have a very negative effect on my quality of life.
I also experienced the following acid reflux symptoms:
- Bloated stomach and constipation
- Pain in my upper and lower abdomen
- Burning throat and sore throat
I was a heavy antacids user, after years of use I started noticing all kinds of other things going wrong in my body. I had to find another way to cure my heartburn. The food and substances I had to cut out of my diet.
Four top this list:
- Coffee
- Smoking
- Painkillers
- Alcohol (especially beer)
This is not true for everyone, but using less of the above four or cutting them out completely had a massive impact on my heartburn pain.
What MUST you do to begin heartburn treatment, no matter what system or medication you use:

- Drink at least three liters water every day (one glass after every meal)

- Eat lots of fresh green vegetables
